  8.   I am continuing to study the possibility of distributing The Hack Report
  9.   via diskette in addition to its current means of distribution.  This is
  10.   purely a PRELIMINARY study, as I am not yet sure if I want to take the
  11.   plunge into mailing out disks.  If this becomes a reality, I will need to
  12.   impose a charge to cover the costs of mailing, supplies, etc.  Everyone
  13.   would still be able to obtain The Hack Report for free via BBS systems,
  14.   of course:  I write it as a free public service and will always do so.

  16.   If you would be interested in obtaining The Hack Report via mailed
  17.   diskette, please let me know via FidoNet NetMail or Internet e-mail.  My
  18.   addresses are listed above.  No subscriptions will be accepted at this
  19.   time, so please don't give me your mailing address yet.  I'm simply
  20.   testing the waters to see if there is a demand.

  22.   Do ***NOT*** reply in one of the echos I monitor and/or moderate:  the
  23.   moderator won't take it too kindly if you do.  Also, please try not to
  24.   send your replies via any of The HackWatchers, since they are busy enough
  25.   with their regular duties.

  27.   Once again, this month's issue fell victim to nasty system bugs on both
  28.   my computer and myself, so there was a delay of about half a day in
  29.   getting it out.  I feel that it is more important to publish an issue
  30.   that is complete and accurate than it is to put out a half-done job.
  31.   However, I do apologize for not being able to do the job on time.  If you
  32.   are reading this in one of the FidoNet echos and had difficulty trying to
  33.   F'Req the file, please contact me via NETMAIL ONLY - I will send you a
  34.   copy on my dime.
